I'm Eilish and I'm the owner, designer and baker behind Peak Patisserie. I live in Matlock, Derbyshire on the edge of the Peak District with my husband and border collie. I started Peak Patisserie after deciding to make my own wedding cake; baking had always been my passion and I wanted to use my big day to let my creativity flourish. I began taking decorating courses and realised that something I'd always dreamed of doing could become a reality. I've always dreamed of a job that I'm passionate about and love doing, as they say if you love your job, you'll never work a day in your life and that's something that I aspire to.
I'm extremely passionate about making wedding cakes and I'm constantly striving for excellence and developing my skills. I believe that no skill is ever perfected so I feel it's important to always continue learning. I've undertaken training with some amazing cake designers including Caroline Jax, Suzanne Esper, Cakes n Crafts and Anna Astashkina among others. With the experience, knowledge and skills I've gained you know you're in safe hands and will have the cake of your dreams. Throughout my training, and taking inspiration from these fabulous teachers, I've learnt that I love a contemporary cake with a minimal style. My love of Pinterest helps me keep up with current trends and explore emerging techniques and styles.
Peak Patisserie is here to provide an excellent service and make your occasion special. I pride myself in being inclusive to all and I work with you to design that bespoke cake that's perfect for your occasion. My aim is for you to remember my business not only for the outstanding cake, but also for the incredible customer service, I'm here every step of the way to make sure that your cake is exactly how you want it whilst being made to the highest quality. To ensure maximum flavour as well as design, I only use the best ingredients - making sure to use high quality chocolate in my ganache and using the best sugar paste to give that flawless finish.
